Geocache Description:

Kes je umistena u byvaleho mostu na 30. km zrusene trati Krimov – Reitzenhain v krusnohori. The cache is hidden at the former bridge on closed railway in Ore Mountains.

Jednokolejna zeleznicni trat Krimov – Reitzenhain (s pokracovanim do Marienbergu) byla zprovoznena v roce 1875 a provozovana do roku 1948.
Pozdeji byla vyuzivana jako vlecka a v letech 1972 – 1987 uplne zrusena, vcetne sneseni koleji, demolic mostu a vytrhani prazcu (podrobny popis muzete najit v dile J.Kadlece vydanem Oblastnim muzeem Chomutov v roce 2005 a dalsi zajimavosti na strankach www.zeleznice.vanovi.net).
Tato kes je jednou ze serie /Marienberg - Krimov, podel niz vas postupne provede.

Most, u ktereho je kes byl zdemolovan 16.6.1986. Nyni je trat zarostla a jen torza staveb teskne pripominaji toto technicke dilo.





!!! I kdyz kes je snadno pristupna davejte pozor, hlavne na deti. Pobliz je prudky sraz a mohou padat kameny!

The one track railway Krimov – Reitzenhain (continuing to Marienberg in Saxonia) was open in 1875 and closed for traffic in 1948.
It was used as siding track later. This railway was completely destroyed between 1972 – 1987 - this bridge in 1986 (details you can find in the book by J.Kadlec – in Czech, 2005 and other interestingness at www.zeleznice.vanovi.net).
The track is overgrown, and only sad fragments of former construction remind this engineering work, now.

!!!The cache itself is accessible easily. Nearby there is a sharp slope and stones can fall down. Pay attention, esp. to your kids!
