(Until early 2012, the equestrian on the nearby sign did not have a head....really!)
Watch out for heavy muggle traffic on bicycle and automobile. If you are lucky and quick, you can park for a brief time on the edge of the driveway for Portola Pastures. Be careful of the fast moving traffic on Arastradero Road. It can be scary at times.
...or better yet, park in the official parking lot down the road and enjoy a longer hike in this area.
