This cache was placed for the GAG9 event of October 20th and 21st, 2006. Among other things, the cache contained an unactivated black CCC geocoin for the FTF,
This cache offers a nice little hike to and through the Lime Kiln Historic Site. Stop and enjoy the ruins and the little historical tidbits at the site. Milk snakes have been seen in the area, and are a rare sight to see. Check out the gallery for an image. These secretive little members of the king snake family are rarely seen out in the open. A protected species under provincial law, they are non-venomous constrictors who feed mostly on rodents, but they do have sharp teeth, so keep your distance if you see one. Pictures are fine, if you're fast enough.
