This cache is located in Montpelier near some soccer fields. The hardest terrain you'll have to go through is a forest of knotweed!
This is a typical cache that can be more easily found by following a small path to the river (but the cache is not on this trail). It is a medium-sized clear plastic container with the regular things in it...a bouncy ball, a top, etc.
As you will be able to see, Japanese Knotweed is an invasive plant. Knotweed originated in Japan (obviously) and has now come over to the United States and Britain. Knotweed is the bamboo-like plant that you will find a jungle of by this cache. Knotweed kills many plants that are indiginous to the area. It takes over (especially by riverbanks) and is not helpful to the environment (it is not a source of food for animals and kills plants that are). If you want to help you can contact the city parks services. This is an EXTREMELY difficult plant to kill, but we hope you'll help.
