Geocache Description:

Overlooks the Cold Spring Harbor and a beautiful park, (bring a picnic lunch). Enter via Greenbelt entrance. Short hike from the parking area, Trail head is quite steep.

PLEASE PRACTICE CACHE-IN / TRASH-OUT !!!! Last time at this cache I saw a lot of trash littered everywhere. It made me sad. This spot was chosen due to its proximity to a park below. Prickly Pete & Snoopy had their first date here, a picnic lunch! Park across from the harbor in a little dirt road parking lot. You should see signs referencing the Long Island Greenbelt Trails. Entrance is steep, but cache is located a short distance away. Only about 20 feet from the trail. Please practice cache in trash out. Cache is a standard metal ammo box filled with a ton of goodies. Lots of room! Please upload your photos with your log, we love photos. Have a great adventure.
