"Mr. Incredible!, You Doesn't Hafta

Call Me Johnson!"

If you are old enough, and Mr. Incredible! certainly is!, you might remember a character on TV who went by the name of Raymond J. Johnson Jr.

This character was played by comedian Bill Seluga.

He appeared on The Flip Wilson Show, The Red Foxx Show, Laugh-In, and on many other shows of that era. His comedic bit revolved around someone referring to him by just his last name - "Johnson."

He would reply:

"JOHNSON! Oh, you doesn't hafta call me Johnson. My name is Raymond J. Johnson, Jr. But you can call me Ray, or you can call me Jay, or you can call me Johnny, or you can call me Sonny, or you can call me Junior, or you can call me RayJay, or you can call me RJ, or you can call me RJJ, or you can call me RJJ, Jr., but you doesn't hafta call me Johnson!"
