Another of the fly/drive series, this one near the Siletz Bay airport. After we placed the cache we crossed the highway and climbed the trail to search out lunch. The area has grown up in the years since we placed it. Still an interesting structure to protect the culvert from the Beavers. the geotrail access is pretty obvious as the only possible entry
Hidden near a nice beaver pond. Notice that the keepers of the culvert have outsmarted the beaver at his own game by fencing off the opening and placing structure to entice him to build his dam somewhere other than in the opening of the pipe.
