Geocache Description:

An easy cache giving you a short break from driving along the Western Highway, with a couple of points of interest.

Please do not park on the highway, it is difficult and dangerous! There is a perfectly good track in to the cache, at the western end of Dadswell's Bridge, opposite the sign-posted caravan park.

Two wheel drives should be able to drive to within 40 metres of the cache should you want to. It is however recommended that you park 120 metres short, at an obvious turnaround area. This is beside a small weir on Mt Willian Creek, which you drive alongside on the way.

As you look at the weir, and walk along the track, take note of the remnant forest - there are a number of really old and very large River Red Gums in this little spot. It is remniscent of what this area must have been like before Europeans.

The cache is a 1 litre clip-top container.
