Geocache Description:

This cache is really very much part of a trail. As a stand alone cache it's not terribly exciting.

Urban Caching comes to Fowey!!
The cache is a tiny Compact Flash card container. It contains a log sheet and nothing else.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN PEN/PENCIL. Parking is available in a selection of Car Parks around the town.
Watch out for muggles - of which there are millions!
The Saints Way series of caches were designed for people walking The Saints Way from Padstow on the North Coast to Fowey on the South Coast.
The Saints Way is a route which follows the probable route of early Christian travellers making their way from Ireland to the Continent.
Rather than risk the difficult passage around Lands End they would disembark their ships on the North Cornish coast and progress to ports such as Fowey on foot.
The route today between Padstow in the North and Fowey in the south is 26 miles in length and is well marked.
The caches are named after Cornish Saints and not always near where they may be commerated at a Church etc.

They will not “work” well as standalone caches and if done by car will become no more than a series of Cache and dash caches, if however you’ve walked some 2 or 3 miles along the trail to the cache - I’m hoping it will be a rather welcome find.
