Geocache Description:

The fourth Cache U Nuts cache. This one is a fairly easy hide near a couple of the most unique houses in Sarasota. A must see if you’re in the area and a fun one to do with the kids.

I was going to the “A Head of The Rest” cache with the kids one day when I happened upon these interesting houses and had to stop and take their picture. As I got back into the car, I said that this would be a great place for a cache and wondered why nobody had placed one here yet. Well its taken a while but I’ve finally gotten around to it. According to the plaque, the houses where built in 1933 for Captain Arthur C. Rowe by shipbuilder Oliver Blackburn and were designated historic structures November 5, 1984, by the city of Sarasota, Florida. I talked to the young man who lives in the lighthouse on 2/24/08 and he was OK with the cache placement, but please take care when searching for and replacing the cache so as not to be observed by any muggles in the area.
