This cache replaces archived Wilson Park III cache (GCWVBE) which was muggled in October 2006. Although this cache is in the general area as the past Wilson Park caches, the coords and container are different. The cache is in a disguised hide to blend with the surroundings but it is in plain sight so there is no need for bushwhacking or moving around debris. It is located north of the chainlink fence on park property.
Due to poor GPS signals among the trees, the posted coords takes you to a fence post marked with an X. From this post, project a distance of 28 feet at a bearing of 335 degrees magnetic to the cache.
There is a Farmer's Market setup on Tuesdays and Saturdays at the park parking lot from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at which time the park is an extremely busy place so it is not a good time to look for this cache during these periods.
UPDATE: On 8/24/08,the cache container was removed and discarded by a muggle,so this cache is now converted to a 'LOG-ON ONLY' cache. Do not place any trade items in the hide even though it is large enough to hold a few items as it is in danger of being muggled again.
FTF gets the $3.00 that's in the container.
