Geocache Description:




The CASTELL DE QUERMANÇÓ is to be found in the north of catalonia not far away from french frontier.
I often passed this building on different vacations - coming from Germany - without knowing it´s name and without knowing
what a beautiful landscape is to be seen from there.
Fortunately i catched up this missing visit and decided to place a cache here.

You can reach the castle coming from Figueres on the N-260 to Llanca.
The castle is placed direct at the N-260, good to see and can´t be missed.
Parking is possible beneath the castle and beside the N-260 on the country road at N 42°20.478' and E 003°05.442'
The outer area of the castle is at any times free reachable, the inner area of the castle is in private property.

The cache is a small canister hidden at the bottom of a big rock nearby the remains of the tower.
