Another micro along the Avon, originally between GCRDMM - A View from a Bridge and GCRDMJ - Bridge View [both sadly now archived].
This is our first geocache which we have adopted. It's a lovely spot with a great view of our favourite bridge. Didn't hesitate when the opportunity came to look after the cache. You are looking for a magnetic nano, so go careful not to knock it off into the undergrowth beneath. Tweezers be required. This cache was originally place by JRI and the original explanation for the cache is below, "I like this area because of its 3D architecture. It's full of ramps and bridges, subways and stairs, twisting over one another. This place is an interface between road, rail and river, the meeting point of urban, rural and industrial.
The cache site gives you sneaky views of Bristol, most obviously up the gorge to the Clifton suspension bridge, but also up to the Cabot Tower, and across to St Mary Redcliffe. There are a few places nearby where you can park a car nearby, but the area is notoriously difficult to navigate. You'll be better off biking it - the location is well connected on the National Cycle Network.
