You are looking for a small plastic loc n loc box with yellow swaps plus log book, It is hidden on the bank of the River Rheidol. Please make sure you rehide it well and cover securely.
I have chosen this particular location because it is my favourite spot on a sunny day. The view is beautiful along the Rheidol Valley with Nant yr Arian in the distance. There is abundant birdlife - you can often see Red Kites and Buzzards in the skies above, as well as kingfishers, herons, and smaller birds who come down to drink and bathe. Small fish and waterboatmen are seen in the river. Close to the cache there is a picnic area with benches under shady trees.
The Cwm Rheidol Steam Trains pass right next to the cache so don't forget to wave to the driver.
Safety Notes: Although it is on the bank of the river there is no need to go down to the water to retreive the cache. It is hidden close to the footpath.
Rheidol Valley Cycle Route
This cache is located just off the cycle route, about a mile away from Indigo. They are easily done by bicycle. This route is safe for families with children on bikes. They are accessible to people with buggies and wheelchairs, although a wheelchair user on their own will have difficulty accessing the actual caches because of the way they are hidden.
You will need to park on the Glanyrafon Industrial estate and you can walk to the cache from there.
