Original description: (Enjoy the views of the Erie Shoreline on your way down to this cache. The cache is just 3 feet off the shoreline trail. The going gets a little rocky, but it is not too hard. There are branches nearby to help steady yourself. The cache contains a log book, pencils, and trinkets.)
UPDATE 11/12/2021: The cache's original hiding spot used to have a gravel footpath to access it. When the city installed the Solstice Steps, they stopped maintaining the area and let it be overrun by burrs, thorns, and many other weeds. The four-trunked stump where the cache was hidden is rotting quickly. The hide area is covered in thorns and not accessible over half the year. Because this cache has been around for 15 years and for the safety of new cachers, young children and for the sake of the park, I am going to do my best to keep it in play. I have moved it closer to the trail and it is now smaller to help it to not be muggled. Please re-hide it as you found it and see the hint if you need help. Happy Hunting!
Update 12/1/23: In order to keep this one in play, it is shifted a bit further from the trail. The D/T rating is more of a 1.5/1 now. Good luck!
The cache is not inside a locked area nor on the other side of the fence. You can reach it easily from the park side.
