Grammie Duck Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Cache Effect: The mention of "no trespassing" signs has me very concerned and since the cache owner hasn't logged onto the site since August 2016 and isn't able to respond to the maintenance issues I must regretfully archive this listing.

Geocache Description:

A large camoed Lock'n'Lock, just off the beaten trail.

This cache was hidden in honour of (and with the help of) Finoa's "Grammie Duck" from New Brunswick AKA Lochnewbie. Having been just introduced to Geocaching, we decided that hiding a Duck cache would be a great idea.

Everything in the cache is 'duck' themed. Please try to trade accordingly!

It was cold and wet out when we placed it but no need to walk through any water. It may be a damp walk in spring, but in the summer, winter and fall it is no problem to access.

Note to the 1st 3 finders:
There is something special for the 1st 3 finders. Please just choose one!

If it is as damp and cold when you are find this as it was when we placed it, you may want to choose the T.H. FTF prize.

If not, there are two additional Special FTF prizes's - Two containers hidden nearby. Th coordinats for each are in the cache. These can be taken and hidden anywhere in the Edmonton area. 'Baby Duck' & 'Mummie Duck' have already been named and are just witing for someone to find a hiding place for them!
