Ghost in the Graveyard Mystery Cache

Moun10Bike: The owners of the land around this cemetery have contacted Groundspeak and asked that this cache be removed. Apparently those with loved ones buried here have felt uncomfortable with the 'fun' going on while they visit graves, and lost searchers have been opening the gate to get into the pasture that is right beside the cemetery and then leaving the gate open. In addition, the land on the other side of the
cemetery was heavily watered for seeding and another of the lost searchers drove on it leaving deep tracks that had to be filled. The land owner is very positive on geocaching, but feels that this is not an appropriate location.

Geocache Description:

The coordinates posted will take you to the Old Cowiche/Natchez Cemetery, founded in 1889. To find the cache, however, will require some grave hunting

This Halloween themed cache, named after one of our favorite youth group games, will take you to one of the Yakima Valley's oldest cemeteries. If you can keep your wits about you I would suggest trying this one at night. Be very careful, however, because the 60+ head stones are spread throughout the graveyard in an interesting fashion.

In order to find the cache coordinates you will have to find information located on a number of head stones scattered throughout the cemetery.

The final coordinates are:

N 46 38.ABC
W 120 41.DEF

A: Find the Schlenk family headstone, dedicated to the children of the Schlenk's. The child that died the youngest lived __ months.

B: Find Isaac Lasswell's headstone. Isaac lived _6 years

C: Find T.A. McLean's headstone. T.A. was born in 183_

D: Find the headstone of a girl who died on Halloween. Add up the total number of gates and doves that appears on her headstone. D=that number

E: On the same headstone add up the total number of doves, pillars, and stars. E=that number

F: On the same headstone add up the total number of doves. F=that number
