Exercise Options Traditional Cache

BoJaB: Hello

I am archiving this listing.

The current land manager of this area (St Johns River Watermanagement District) is in the process of turning this land over to another entity. They have asked that all the geocaches on this property be removed while they work out who is going to be the new land manager. Please pick up your container as soon as possible.

Geocache Description:

Take a walk on the "wild side" of the bike trail between Lake Monroe and Gemini Springs.

If you have already done some of the caches along the wonderful paved trail between Gemini Springs and Lake Monroe, you will no doubt agree that this is a superb trail for taking advantage of all sorts of exercise options. You can walk, bike, skate, scooter, or even skateboard if you want. PS: Oh, yeah - TRIKKES. Howzdat BoJaB?

Few people take advantage of the nature loop trail that is on the "wild side" of the paved trail. hiddenrock has placed his Snakes In a Box cache in one area, and now there are two more caches along the loop portion of this trail (this one and Turtle Mound). This gives you a chance to exercise another option - off road hiking. Explore this approximately 1 mile loop trail and take in the solitude while maybe getting a chance to view some wildlife.

The container is a small twist top container that can hold small items. It has a logsheet and a pen, but you may want to bring a writing utensil, just in case. There is a little bit of poison ivy in the area, and there can be some water during the rainy season, so be aware.
