Geocache Description:


I will describe this cache as a very interesting spot.I will explain.

- This cache is right located at the mid-top of a hill between Kowloon Tsai Park and Lok Fu Park. The hill is named as Signal Hill(Kak Chai Shan) because it was a navigation aid for the airplanes before landing at the Kai Tak Airport(closed on 1998).Pilots have to use IGS(Instrument Guidiance System)Approach to the top of this hill and turn 47° pararrel to the Runway 13.

- On one side of the Signal Hill, a large piece of red and white stripes were painted to guide the landing.

- This cache is located just right under the stripes.

1.)Get there by MTR to Lok Fu Station, find your way to Lok Fu Park, then walk uphill

or

Get to Kowloon City by any sorts of transportation, find your way to Kowloon Tsai Park, then find a path go uphill next to the Kowloon Tsai Park swimming pool (walk towards Lok Fu Park entrance)

2.)Everyone should get to the waypoint (Degree,Minutes)

This is the only path leading you to the cache.Walk about 5 mins downhill to the cache.

3.)There it is, enjoy your view, remember to bring your pen!

Before getting to this cache, vistors have to walk on a 50m long 2m width berm. It would be safe if you walk slowly and not on a windy day. Vistors should judge the situation at his visit.

For tourists, Kowloon City is a district that just spread The Hong Kong living style. If you love chinese or Thailand cuisines, this is definately a good place for you. Cheap and quality food.... ask me if you need any help!
