Four Distinct Personalities: After a few years of no finds I went out today...the micro was indeed gone. The final was torn apart by animals (?)....hauled out the busted cache and remnants.

Geocache Description:

Turtle Hurdle? Turtle Curdle? Oh well, such were the other choices considered and quickly discarded in naming this cache in honor of the local Amphibious Tortoise.

This is a two part multicache in Chatfield Hollow state park placed to commemorate Turtle's 1000th geocache find and the geocaching event of October 28, 2006.

The caches are set along the green trail. The first is a film cannister hidden to take advantage of the natural cammoflage. The micro contains the coordinates to the final cache, which is a standard tupperware type container. The final is hidden in a manner consistent with the terrain of the area and no hint is needed.

Stay on the trails; very minimal bushwacking required. We took the white to the blue to the green trail and really enjoyed the peak foliage at the time of the cache placement. You will come close to The Chatfield's Witch cache if you choose this pathway. You can get a map of Chatfield Hollow at this site: (visit link)

Congratulations Turtle and thank you for the wonderful caches you have placed for the geocaching community!
