Small cache well hidden requiring some serious searching amongst gravestones of old cemetery on steep hillside.
Provides an opportunity to explore the historic township of Kohukohu on northern shore of the Hokianga harbour and visit the resting spot of some of its past population. The views are tremendous and the old homes well worth a glance.
The co-ordinates bring you to a front gate. Go through and look for Mabel, wife of George Andrewes who passed away in 1978. The cache is 2m. SSW of Mabel.
