Mount Sundance Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Vertighost: Cache owner (CO) has not responded and, as there's been no cache to find for an extended period of time, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. Please note that caches that have been archived due to maintenance issues and/or failure of the cache owner to respond are not eligible to be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a a medicine bottle painted green. Please be sure to close it up tightly. Thanks!

Though not exactly a mountain, this is a nice walk up a Texas Hill Country hill. You probably won't even work up a sweat unless its a hot day. Parking is road side, but there is a wide shoulder and you will always be in site of your vehicle. This should be a fun cache, not too difficult, but not too easy. When you see the blue (or is it turquoise) property marker you are getting close. Be sure to enter from the west along the stone fence.

Please be aware that there are areas where you will be walking near the edge that require extra caution. Not recommended at night or if the terrain is wet. If you have children or pets please keep them close to you.

Also watch for all those thorny south Texas plants we love to look at, but not touch!

Unless you just want to rock hop, the easiest walking is staying close to the stone fence. Enjoy!
