THIS CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. TO FIND THE AMMO BOX YOU MUST MAKE A LONG DISTANCE CALL or Be lucky enough to be able to "afford" a nearby cache that can only be found by getting your hands on one of my elusive, special wooden nickels.
The actual cache is located somewhere in Georgia, but the coordinates have been hidden hundreds (and now, Thousands) of miles away on a few different phones. To get the coordinates, you must successfully reach someone on the other end of one of those phones and convince them to read the coordinates off a sticker placed on the phone. The trick is going to be to keep them on the phone long enough to accomplish the task without hanging up on you and thinking you have completely lost your marbles. The cache's orignal payphone number in Cocoa Beach, Florida was (321)868-8240 and was a phone booth at a pretty busy 7-11 convience store that was very busy the whole week I was in town. Unfortunately folks have reported the number is no longer any good, but I'm leaving it here for posterity since it was the very first number used. But you're in luck, because as of March 27, 2018, I placed a sticker on two different courtesy phones located at the Kansas City international airport. 816-243-5265 is directly across from the B1 baggage claim carousel for Southwest airlines. The sticker is silver, the same color as the phone, and located on the bottom of said phone. Another courtesy phone located directly across from the B4 baggage claim carousel for Southwest Airlines within the Kansas City international airport is 816-243-5246. That one's label is also on the very bottom of the phone. You may have to make numerous calls to get someone so keep trying. The rest is up to you and the person who answers one of the phones. And thanks to kenttela in April 2018 stickers have been placed on a working pay phone 850-584-8906. Once you have the coords you have everything you need to find the cache. Have fun and remember that when you log this cache, you need to include how your phone call went. Were you laughed at, called any names that you can repeat, lucky enough to get another geocacher to answer, etc.. .
