Geocache Description:

I'm guessing a series of "Monopoly"-themed caches already exists, but I couldn't resist starting another one here.

Almost everyone recognizes "Monopoly," the board game based on properties in Atlantic City, New Jersey. I'm not 100% clear on the origin of the game, but it appears a patent application was filed in 1904 for something called "The Landlord's Game," and the drawing of the original board bears some resemblance to the modern version. Today, there are countless (approved) special editions, including Disney, National Parks, and even James Bond 007 versions.

As for how to win the game, there are several strategies and even a few books on the subject. Personally, I try to buy as many properties as possible, including the lowly Water Works. Feel free to add tips or other game-related thoughts in your log. Have fun!
