A Little Spruced Up Traditional Cache

This cache is located very close to a walking/biking/snowmobile trail north of Gaylord. It can be accessed near Whitmarsh Road and Old US-27 North. The trail is flat and wide. In dry summer and fall conditions, this trail could be enjoyed by people who use wheelchairs. However the cache is about 20-30 feet off the trail, somewhat bumpy and brushy terrain.
This area is rich in wildlife. I've seen many deer and an occasional elk in the nearby farm field (a lovely sight to me, but the farmer whose crop is being nibbled and trampled on probably has a different view!), many hawks, a few owls, plus I've enjoyed the wild berries that grow along this trail.
The cache is a small camoflaged pint plastic jar, just large enough for a logbook, pencils and very small trading items. There is a modest FTF prize. Oh, yes, there is also a Green Jeep Travel Bug!
If you have difficulty finding this cache, it will do you no good to "beech" or "birch" about it, and it would be a waste of your valuable geocaching time to "pine" about it. And don't even consider "turning over a new leaf." Gettin a little "firry" might be a temptation. But just look to the title of this cache, and you should be just fine!
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACCESS THIS CACHE FROM OLD-27--EVEN THOUGH YOUR GPS INDICATES THAT YOU ARE CLOSE--IT IS PRIVATE PROPERTY AND YOU WILL BE TRESPASSING. PARK YOUR CAR ON WHITMARSH ROAD, A SHORT DISTANCE EAST OF OLD 27. YOU WILL SEE AN ORANGE DIAMOND WITH THE NUMBER 7 MARKING THE TRAIL. (I WILL OBTAIN PARKING COORDINATES ASAP). Another option is to stop for a burger and beer or coke at the White Wolf Inn. The cache is just a few hundred feet from the Inn..there is a short "spur" from the Inn's parking lot to the trail.
