Chili Cook
Off
Well, it's time again to enjoy some great chili
and even better company. Last years cook off was a HUGE success so
were doing it again, but this year it will be even better. More
categories to vote for, an event coin (see below), another great
presentation and door prizes.
Last year the White Chili's dominated buy taking
1st and 2nd place, we can't wait to see what great chili's we get
to enjoy this year. So start your
experimenting and come up with your best
recipe. Post to the
page that your going to bring a pot of chili, give it a name and
we'll add you to the list. The
cook off will be limited to the first 15 people to respond with
what type of chili they will be bringing. A note posted to the
cache page will work.
The
event page will be updated with a list of who’s brining
what. All preparation
will need to be done before hand and brought to the event in crock
pots to keep it warm.
If your not into making chili we would welcome some 2 liters
of Non-alcoholic
beverages for everyone to enjoy.
When making your pot of chili,
PLEASE make a pot large enough to serve approx. 175-200
people.
Serving size approx. 1/4 cup
Last year several people ran out early, so be sure
to come prepared for a BIG crowd.
Last year DeRock and The
Psychic cacher had a GREAT table presentation to go along with
their chili, which inspired us to add an award to this years cook
off. So one of the new categories you can win in will be "Best in
Presentation" Space will be limited to don't go too crazy, but be
creative.
