The SCGA, in conjunction with the Midlands GeoHolics, are proud to
announce another CITO (Cache In-Trash Out) event at Dreher Island
State Park.
Come One, Come All!! Join us from 10-12 on Saturday November 11 at
Dreher Island State Park. We will meet at the park office, the
first building on the right after the second bridge. From here we
will move to the various target areas. The coordinates above are
just general coordinates. Llatnek will post more accurate
coordinates soon. (see below)
Admission is free to Geocacher volunteers, just tell them at the
gate. The Staff at Dreher Island will provide trucks to pick up the
trash bags that we fill. Team Wee Lee and Llatnek will provide
gloves, bags, and some light refreshments. Skillet68 has arranged
PIZZA!!
Make sure you add this event to your watchlist. We will update
with more information as it becomes available.
10/29-Updating the coords of the rally point to the park office
at 34 05.111 081 24.501. We are also starting to amass a pile of
pretty neat door prizes! Feel free to bring more. We'll also have
the usual array of TB's and GeoCoins.
