Geocache Description:

Balfluig was built in 1556 by a member of the Forbes family. In 1753 the estate was sold and the new Farquharson owners did not live at the Castle, which ceased to be a laird's dwelling until it's restoration in 1968. It is the present owners' Scottish home, set in farmland with views to the hills
