MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of this cache to find out about the status of this cache on May 16, 2008. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

Geocache Description:

In tradition of my other Uxbridge cache, The Falls at Whitin Pond , I decided to hide another waterfull cache for the 2006 Fall SNEG Event. The cache is a small Ziploc plastic container which is pretty much only accessible from a small trail starting at the parking location (N 42 05.038 W 071 36.493)on W. River Road.

I drive by this waterfall almost daily, and finally decided to try to get a closer look. Once I found my way in, I really enjoyed the view and area, despite being so close to Route 16.

The area that the cache is located in is virtually surrounded by water on all sides, so the only way in is by crossing either a fairly wide cement retaining wall or a wide wooden railroad tie. It shouldn't be scary to cross for anyone, but you may want to watch the little ones or in if winter, wait for no ice. Soon you'll have a close up view of Nano-Niagra and should find the cache quick in this small grotto-like area.
