Geocache Description:

Located in beautiful Wharton State Forest not far from Atsion Ranger Station on "the other side" of Rt. 206.

Another beautiful drive down the sandy roads of Wharton. Cache is located not far from the Atsion Ranger Station on Sandy Causeway Road and is accessible from Atsion Road or from CR-536. You will probably be okay without 4WD but you should know the limits of your vehicle. The road is fairly wide and there is parking for about a dozen vehicles near the start of the night nike. Start your journey at the posted coordinates. Follow the white reflective markers throughout your journey. One marker is to confirm that you are traveling in the right direction. Two diagonal markers indicate the direction of travel (e.g. bear to the left, bear to the right, left turn, right turn). Two rows of two horizontal markers indicate that you must stop and search for a cache. The round markers will guide you to the cache location and the square markers will guide you back to your vehicle. You are looking for a decon container with room for small trade items.
