This cache is located on the beautiful, yet underutilized Townsend Trail. This trail is the final segment of the NC Mountains–to–Sea Trail that falls under the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department Trail System. Please keep in mind this is one of the longest watershed trails in Greensboro, so make sure you have enough water and time! Your hike will be no less than four miles roundtrip from the Yanceyville parking coordinates or as a straight through hike from one trailhead to another.

This cache is dedicated and designed to please all our favorite geodogs and cache hounds! The original contents contain various dog toys that will please any pooch. We would like to stick to the theme as much as possible so we welcome any appropriate doggy gear. However, please do not place any treats, biscuits, rawhide or scented items of any kind in the cache as the local wildlife may want to make off with it. TBs are welcome anytime.
