Geocache Description:

This cache is not meant to be difficult, in fact it is pretty easy. The point of this cache is to bring you to a place that is very beautiful and peaceful. If you arrive at the right time of the year, mid October through November, you should be able to look down and see the salmon passing under you and spawning on the rocks below.
This is a very special waterway to us as it also runs through our backyard further up creek. We are blessed to spend our idol time enjoying not only the salmon run, but the family of river otters that make their home on our bank. We also enjoy a pair of eagles and their nest that we can view from our deck. The wildlife thrive near our waterways and we are so blessed to live among it.
So, this easy cache is placed during the time that the salmon are running and the sky is full of both local eagles and those that migrate to our area at this time of year because of the abundance of fish. Regardless of what time of year you visit, it is always a beautiful spot.
Please take a few minutes to enjoy what mother nature has to offer and tell us in your log what you think. Be sure and click on other nearby caches by this user for more fun finds in the Arlington area.

Please respect that there is no salmon fishing allowed out of Jim Creek.
