DO NOT GO TO THE COORDINATES ABOVE. Although these coordinates may be familiar to some of you, IT will be difficult to LINGER there unless you are a duck, or are particularly adept at walking on WATER. More IMPORTANTLY, the cache is not there.
This cache is the second in the Vogon Poetry series, dedicated to one of my favorite books, the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
It has been a while since you were notified of your planet's DESTRUCTION to make way for a hyperspatial express route through your solar system. Some of you registered your comments with your local Hyperspatial Planning Council. Thank you for that. And we want to assure you that your comments have not fallen on DEAF ears. The Hyperspatial Planning Council just doesn't care, so destruction will commence very SOON. While you wait, please enjoy some of my POETRY.

in a narcostic sephystude, my gluptules shine supreme
i feel the beryllium subterfuge
like a festive blighterstamp, a boron night gleams esteem
to frump the hapless greenling in a zirconium held galuge
on cobalt, i seeply ride
the carbon-based vaculite, a shifting bollahluge
oh how the colladahue dost inkle the thinking, sinking pride
i sulk into magnesium
and in the galavinous hulking, chromium apostalide
agog in a malgum decision to peddle through reeking sodium
i glow a purple neon
with miles to go before i sleep

The cache is just off of a well-used, paved trail. The cache container is a small ammo can. Good luck! DON'T PANIC! And don't forget your TOWEL! The hint below will be very cryptic to those who have not read the book. In fact, it will be cryptic for some who HAVE read the book. For an explanantion, please e-mail me.
