Geocache Description:

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007. This is one of the first new caches published in Arizona. A nice little stretch for those traveling through from out of town. A great spot for all to get a great view of the area.

There will be a little bit of a simple climb up a hill. But don’t worry; you’ll be able to see your car the whole time. On your way to the cache, RESPECT the landscaping and do not go on the other side of the “NO TRESPASSING” sign. From the cache spot, you can see the Tonto National Forest, Usery Mountain Recreation Park, Camel Back Mountain, downtown Phoenix, and something you won’t miss seeing when you get there (hence the name), the list goes on. This is a great place for those big travel bugs that just don’t fit into those urban micros.

When I placed this geocache, I showed the cords with an error accuracy of 6ft. I hope you enjoy this geocache of mine and if you like it, make sure you add it to your “ my favorites list”!! Please don't hesitate to drop off travel bugs here even if you've been here before. And just the same if you want to come back to pick up travel bugs.

Please post pictures if you'd like just please keep it discreet as to not make it too easy for non members to figure out where the cache is hidden. Thanks.

Congrats to "just hike" for the First to Find

UPDATE: THE CLIMB UP IS EASIEST IF YOU COME FROM THE NORTH NORTHWEST. THE TERRIAN IS A LITTLE SLIPPERY FROM THE LOOSE ROCKS, SO BE CAREFUL. SHOULD TAKE MOST PEOPLE ON AVERAGE ABOUT 15-20 MINUTES ROUND TRIP.
