Gatineau Park covers 361 square
kilometres of forests and lakes in the heart of the Gatineau
Hills.
The Park is home to about 40 species of trees including the sugar
maple.
Managed by the NCC, Gatineau
Park is a superb nature reserve just 15 minutes from Parliament
Hill.
The posted coordinates are
within 5 metres from the NCC Visitor Centre parking lot in Chelsea
and will have you standing beside a building. Find the sign above
the doors and replace the last two digits of the north coordinates
with the last two numbers on the sign and the last two digits of
the west coordinates with the first two numbers on the
sign.
