802.11 Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Big G.: Unfortunately the business hosting the device that transmitted the coordinates moved to a location that was already taken over by another cache so it is with great sadness that I have to archive this one.
Thanks to all who found it, hope you had fun.

Geocache Description:

Please read the whole description before setting out. At the above coordinates you'll find the coordinates for the 2nd (final) stage. The cache itself is a few miles from here.

You WILL NEED special equipment (hence the 5* difficulty). What you need is indicated by the name of the cache. Without that piece of equipment you will not succeed.

The cache container is a medium sized lock'n'lock hidden at the base of a car-sized rock covered with burnt bark. It is on the North side of the rock, the rock is at the edge of the clearing behind waist-high broom. The significance of the location may not be obvious now, but a building stood here many years ago that was "connected" to the building at stage one. It was the remote recieve site for Shaw Cable and heading straight down the hillside you can still see the thick cable here and there.

The cache at stage two should be easy to find, however getting to it may be tricky in the winter.
