This should be a fun geocache. It is an ammo can. It is hidden
pretty well in a cool area. There are lots of hiding spots there
and plenty of canopy to screw with your GPSr. This is one where if
ghs goes after it at night, he'll have a blast. Oh yeah, I forgot
for a moment there... he always has a blast doesn't he?
This is kind of a theme cache.
If you will, when you find this cache and enter your find log, tell
us about an anniversary of yours. A day that is important to you. A
date you will remember, and perhaps do something special, each time
it comes around on the calendar. Maybe it is the date of your
wedding. Maybe it is the date you reached the summit of a mountain.
It could be anything really. It just has to be special to you. Be
part of who you are.
It's okay if you do not want to talk about that kind of thing. You
can enter a find log without any mention of that sort of thing.
Whatever you want to do.
I can hear a lot of men out there, okay, at least some men out
there, who are reading this and saying "Geez bennet, why'd you go
and make this cache? What about the Guy Code? Now you are gonna
make me say something mushy?"
Well first, you don't have to say anything. If you do, your topic
may not be mushy. And if it is, you'll probably make someone feel
really good and it ain't gonna kill you.
Swag in the can is pretty slim. I didn't have time to stock it
well. So if you can bring a few items to throw in there, it will be
appreciated.
Original contents include: a can of potted meat product, a plastic
alligator, some other little toys, a coffee cup, and a Louisiana
geocoin (at least I hope that is where I put that coin). Louisiana
is a really nice place.
