Geocache Description:

Edmunds Lock has also been called Edmons , and is even marked on some old maps as Mills Locks. Edmunds Lock would seem the appropriate name for it is built near the side of the house of one of the earliest settlers in this part of the Rideau valley ( James Edmunds)

A nice easy walk along the canal

The Cache is located on the grounds of the Rideau Canal Lock System

Good fishing and a nice picnic area

If you can spare the time sit at one of the picnic tables and watch the boats go by.

The cache is a camouflaged medium Lock and Seal container and winter friendly
