Geocache Description:

This is the first in a series of caches based on Faith Blossom's Children's Books.

"........She walked slowly over to the stream that ran by the park and sat down on the grass. Every so often a tiny fish would swim by and look at her. Emily lay down on the grass and looked up at the sky. She has always liked to lie on her back watching the clouds go by and see what shapes the clouds would make.
She felt a tickle on her hand but thought it was an ant and shook her hand to get it off. A few seconds layer she felt the tickling again, and she shook her hand. The third time she felt a tickling, she sat up only to find that it was not an ant but a very large dragonfly. Normally she would have been afraid of it but this one seemed to be injured. Slowly she lifted her hand up so she could see it better and see what was wrong. The dragonfly did not move or even attempt to fly away while Emily looked closely at it. She could not see anything wrong with its wings so she looked at its legs. She saw the problem right away. One of its front legs was missing.
"Poor little thing. You are missing a leg. I bet that hurt" She gently stroked its long body. The dragonfly seemed to understand her and nodded. Emily was startled and almost dropped it, then remembered that one of the gifts Queen Mab had given her was a pet and to understand each other. Emily was very excited now and could not wait to tell Emma about her pet. She asked the dragonfly if it had a name. It looked up at her and made a buzzing sound that at first Emily did not understand. She realized that it was spelling something for her, she listened carefully and tried to remember all of the letters.
"OK! We have these letters. I D O N O T H A V E A N A M E. Is that all of them?"
The dragonfly nodded and Emily tried to figure out what it spelt.
"Idono Thavean Ame? Is that your name?" The dragonfly shook his head no. Emily said it out loud several times before she heard a small giggle come from behind her.
She turned around to see Emma smiling at her. Emily squealed with delight and nearly dropped the dragonfly. Emma ran over to her and gave her a huge hug and Emily gave her a one-armed hug so she would not injure the dragonfly.
"Why were you giggling at me earlier?" Emma started to giggle again.
"Emily, repeat the dragonflies' name again."
"Idono Thavean Ame" Emma giggled.
"Say it three times fast."
"Idono Thavean Ame, Idono Thavean Ame, Idono Tha . . ." Emily realized what the letters really spelt. "I do not have a name." Emma nodded as she laughed. The dragonfly smiled and nodded.
"OK, well I guess I will have to think of a name for you." She looked at the colors on the wings. There were beautiful greens, blues, yellows, oranges and reds. Emily looked at Emma who was playing with a ladybug that had landed near her on the grass.
"Emma can you think of a good name for the Dragonfly?"
Emma suggested names such as Whizzes, Speedy, Winger, Buzz and Buzzer but the dragonfly kept shaking its head no.
"How about Ragly the dragonfly?" Emily said and laughed, then noticed the dragonfly nodding enthusiastically.
"Ragly it will be." Emma said as she smiled toward Emily and her new pet......"
