A nice spot.Have come here many times and love looking at the falls. Beautiful to go see the water cascading here and there is a washroom. Bring a camera! After you look at the falls go back and figure out how to get to this cache. Good hunting.
Well, my sons (age 6,5) wanted to hide a geocache(our first) and I decided to go that day cause the power went out because of wind. Got to the site and it was dusk and decided to hide it in a harder spot. Did not get to the spot I wanted to get to, cause it was getting dark. So had to find a spot to hide it and get outta there quick before it got too dark.Did not want them to be scared so laughed while sliding down the slope. Though my sons are small they really were troopers and I guess I would like to move the cache in the future unless people think it is OK where it is.A beautiful spot for picnic and if you have the time and are surefooted you may want to go for this geocache. There are easier ways to get there but where we went the guide rates it 3.5 difficulty and 4.25 terrain. It is not as bad as it seems, I would rate it lower, considering my sons ages are 5 & 6 and made it no problem. But still, be very careful please. (This is an extra note. DO NOT TRY TO CLIMB RIGHT AT THE FALLS) This is not the way my sons(6,5 at the time) and I went. Unless you are an experienced mountain climber and have gear (even then I would not suggest it) Cause climbing can cause mental stress and falling can cause death and would have to rate it 7 there.(off the chart) Also if you do bring a camera be sure to take a few shots of the waterfall and picnic table for this site.
