CCcacher: Incinerated! Lost to the grassfire. Although the log that made up GZ survived, the cache apparently did not. About 6 inches of ash cover the ground here. Nothing to be found.

Geocache Description:

The second Amigo in Dean Lakes Park.
Please be careful of the new plantings.
Seek small cammo'd container.



The state DNR reported the fire danger as very-high to extreme. Most cities have burning restrictions, a red-flag day was also declared. But that didn't stop some foolhardy homeowner who decided to burn some brush. Needless to say Dean Lakes Park became the product of his carelessness.


The cache site: Looks like firefighters knocked this area down before the brush burned up, but not in time for the cache.
