A quick park-n-grab. Not that you will … ‘cause there’s a /trail/. And wildlife. And a river. And a view.
Geocaching is a hobby for “crunchy” people, the Granola Set, health nuts, and outdoors-y types. Well, okay, so that isn’t entirely accurate but in our case it is. We’re neveaux-Hippies at RampantBear Ranch and when geocaching we are the Granola Pirates – hunting for treasure where the X (on the GPS) marks the spot. This cache was put together by Hippopotamama and filled originally with hemp jewelry kits and a few other choice little items. By all means, feel free to drop off whatever you have with you but … if you have something vaguely … hippy-ish … more’s the better! And even though we didn’t stick it way out at the end of the trail … go on ad give it a hike, will ya? (You know you want to!)
It’s a small metal ammo crate (and yes, the irony is not lost on us that the Peace-niks are using an ammo case ….). It started life with a pencil and sharpener. If one or both are missing, please alert RampantBear!
