Located along the long path between Furgeson Rd and Rt52.
This cache is located along the shawngunk ridge on the long path. The first .2 of a mile is a climb so use caution, very rocky! You can get the platform Rock cache here. Continue up the trail. The cache is about 1.3 miles as a crow flys. Bring a camera as there are amazing views along the whole trail. After you get to the cache, you might want to continue .5 of a mile to the First step's a bluesy cache!
When you get to the cache site, you will see why I named it Half Heaven Half Heartache. Actually I took the name of the song from Gene Pitney, an awesome song from the 50's I believe! Have fun and be enjoy the find. I had fun hiding it! I'VE WANTED TO HIDE A CACHE WITH A GREAT VIEW!
