Geocache Description:

Welcome to the City of Waukesha Parks, Recreation and Forestry Dept's Horeb Springs Park.

Horeb Springs Pool was completed renovated into a waterpark and opened late summer 2005. Come take a look while searching this cache.

STEALTH will be required during busy pool times which also adds to the difficulty.

The City of Waukesha Park hours are sunrise until 10:00 PM but due to the location of this cache we ask that you do not pursue it after dark. It is next to some houses and you are sure to be noticed with flashlights.

Thanks to Pharmteam here is a little history about the park:Horeb Park , once the home of pioneer Zebulon Bidwell, was developed by Thomas Spence into a tourist attraction featuring drives, ponds, rustic wooden bridges and archways and several mineral springs. The park went through ups and downs, was deeded to the city in 1922. An ampitheater was built in 1934 which featured fountains and formal garden terraced into the hillside but the springs, ponds and other structures were removed. In 1955 a swimming pool was constructed and the fountains covered over and deactivated.

You will need to bring your own pen or pencil. No tradies please.
