Double Trouble Traditional Cache
Without Wax: At 87 years of age, and this nineteen-year-old cache being in another town, I thought I would concentrate on my three geocaches in my hometown.

Brought to you by the creator of the Smoke Rises series, this traditional cache is located on The Bell Property in the Town of Tyngsboro. A fifteen-acre conservation gem - donated by Edward Bell in 1996 - its location is directly across from the Town Hall and Library where you should park. Parking coordinates are N42°40.830' W071°25.679. Flyers describing the area may be available at the library. NOTE: This area tends to be very buggy so be sure to bring mosquito repellant. Two stone walls surround the parcel on Bryants Lane where the ¾ mile-long U-shaped trail begins and ends. An old cart path can be found at the rear of the parcel while a large split boulder near the cart path is a picturesque spot. Follow the trail markers to exit at the other end of Bryants Lane. Remnants of a mink farm, which used to be housed on the property along Middlesex Road, can be seen on the right of the trail, over the stone wall. A bench, built as part of an Eagle Scout project, has been placed at the top of a small rise along the well-marked trail. The cache is in a clear rectangular plastic container. My newest cache is Smoke Rises over the Koulas Farm, located on Pine Hill Road in Chelmsford, not far from the Hunt Rd bridge that crosses over Rte 495. Another of my caches, Smoke Rises Over the Pasture, is located off of route 27 in So. Chelmsford, while yet another of my caches, Smoke Rises Over Oak Hill, is located in No. Chelmsford at 40 Swain Road at a somewhat new conservation area. I'm disappointed to report that two of my other Tyngsboro caches were stolen in the past year, one of them a fourteen-year-old cache. Both caches had military ammo cans as containers and were well hidden. Please close the lids and camouflage the containers.
