Geocache Description:

You will need to be able to use a compass and to pace off a desired distance. Check out http://www.learn-orienteering.org/old/

You begin with a tribute to our Forefathers who made the Freedom of our country possible.

Set your compass to a heading of 360deg and look in that direction.
The doughboy statue you see was dedicated in 1928 to the memory of all Veterans of all wars.

Set your compass to a heading of 180deg and look in that direction.
This monument is a tribute to those Veterans who served in World War II.

Set your compass to a heading of 256deg. And from Lady Liberty walk 139ft.
This Freedom tree is dedicated to a young Norfolk man whose plane was shot down over North Vietnam.

Set your compass to 125deg (if using your gps or something else that is set for true north then use 130deg) and from the plaque walk 270ft. .
