Geocache Description:




This geocache is hidden in the woods. Poison plants, arachnid pests, and legless reptiles are all possible. The hike is short. There is a curfew in the park midnight to 6 AM except for fishing.

Raccoons are unusual for their thumbs, which (though not opposable) enable them to open many closed containers, such as garbage cans, doors, and perhaps geocaches. They are omnivores with a reputation for being clever and mischievous. Their intelligence and dexterity equip them to survive in a wide range of environments and are one of the few medium-to-large-sized animals that have enlarged its range since human encroachment began (another is the coyote).

11/23/2021 They have completely un-wilded these woods to make a very nice 18-hole disk golf course, wow! I found a new cache location fairly close to the old one. Please keep the cache covered, as muggles abound.

10/26/2023 position captured was 36-12.615 95-43.376 but not confident enough to change the posted position.

7/15/2024 Placed a new container in new position. Please cover with sticks and logs when you are done.
