De facto werden ze ook verwijderd uit de natuur, deze te 08.55 uur.

Anno 1099 kwam ridder Salomon Van Maldeghem met Godfried van Bouillon terug van de eerste kruistocht. Hij had in drie jaar tijd eeuwige roem en wat buit vergaard. Dank zij hem heeft Maldegem een rood kruis in het wapenschild. Men zegt dat hij, als dank voor bewezen diensten een lapje bouwgrond kreeg. Vanop de pui van het neogotisch gemeentehuis van Maldegem is er een prachtig uitzicht op de markt waar Salomon op zijn ros zit te pronken.
Reis naar coördinaten N 51°12.495 E 3°25.830,op Salomon’s jachtterrein. Vandaar kan je een nu gemoderniseerde versie van zijn stulpje, met wat uitleg zien. Kies het juiste getal en verminder dat met 5 x het jaar van de heenreis van Salomon. De positieve uitkomst noemen we ABC. Wandel nu gedreven naar Salomons’s buit,
coördinaten N 51° 12.(ABC+286) E 03° 25.(ABC+049). Log en geniet van de omgeving.

It is said, that his feudal lord gave him a building site. From the shopfront of the neogothic Maldegem town hall, you have an excellent view on the market place, where Salomon is riding his horse.
Travel to coordinates N 51°12.495 E 3°25.830 on Salomon’s hunting ground and admire the neogothic cottage. Reading the info, you will have to choose the right number. Substract 5 times Salomon’s departure year and find a positive result : ABC.
