Cache is located in Cascade Township Park. Park is open all year long, as are the bathrooms!
This is a letterbox hybrid cache placed in honor of one of our kitties, Patty. You must follow the directions provided to find the cache. The posted coords will take you signs reminding dog walkers to tidy up after their pets. Walk 40 paces up the hill to the left of the sign, past the many-trunked tree to find the trail into the woods. Follow the trail through the woods up the hill. There will be a few turnoffs back down the hill, don't take them! Follow the trail almost to the end...you will see a fence and 'Private Property' signs ahead of you, but you don't need to go that far. Cache is hidden in the base of a large, leaning over tree 20 paces off the trail on the left hand side.
Please do not swap out the stamp pad or stamp, they are to be used to stamp your letterboxing book!! The stamp has gone missing from this cache several times already, PLEASE don't trade for it!!!
The stamp pad will probably be frozen in the wintertime, so you may want to bring your own along, along with a stamp if you have one to make your mark in the log book. Have fun!
