Another nice cache location on the Rock Run Creek section of the PumpkinVine Trail. Fall colours are nice but Spring and Summer finds are most rewarding.
Some thirty years ago, as a kid, I walked the Rock Run Creek railroad tracks to school. As I grew up, I spent many hours playing, fishing, trapping, and camping on and around the bridges and banks of this small creek which winds its way through NorthEast Goshen. Like many of the friends of my youth, the tracks are now gone, replaced with these trails.
As you walk the trails let them take you back with me to those days of backyard football games, bicycle rides, canepoles and wiggly worms, my memories of this area.
Good luck on your search but don't be surprised if, from behind you hear, the joyous laughter of a child, only to turn and find no-one...
